The screenshots are for Outlook using a MAC. Windows Outlook may look different but settings should be the same.
I will use a demo account called test under the domain 48hoursellout.com.
Add a New Account selecting IMAP
Click More Options and set Authentication to use your full email address and password. A fundamental flaw with Microsoft Outlook is it users the term User name for Email Address. This is the number 1 cause for confusion among people trying to setup an email account with Microsoft products.
